Hi, I’m Caroline!
I’m a local watercolor artist based in Charleston, South Carolina, with a background in design. What started as a creative outlet and a way to slow down and make something just for me, has grown into something so much more.
I’m endlessly inspired by coastal living and a love for all things beautiful, and my work has evolved into a collection of pieces meant to capture special moments and bring a sense of beauty into everyday spaces.
Throughout my website, you’ll find matchbook prints, custom artwork, venue paintings, crests, save the dates, gift tags, cards, and more. I truly love bringing your vision to life, so if you have something in mind, I’d love to hear from you. Submit a custom inquiry and let’s create something special together.
XOXO, Caroline
My passion for art began at a very young age. I would sit for hours at the kitchen table with a stack of white paper and a pile of markers — it doesn’t help that once I get hyper-fixated on something, it’s hard for me to stop.
My passion for watercolor and design makes me feel that same way. I get so focused and excited working on projects and can spend hours painting away (now at my own kitchen table).
I graduated from Elon University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Design. Elon quickly became the sweetest home during those four years. When I first got to Elon, I had zero idea what I wanted to do. I very quickly learned about the Communication Design major and I was hooked. A whole major dedicated to being creative? Count me in.
While at Elon, I was a loyal member of Sweet Signatures A Cappella group and Sigma Kappa sorority. I was lucky enough, in both organizations, to hold executive positions that allowed me to hone in on my artistic abilities through event graphics, signage, concert programs, tickets, and more.
My love for specifically watercolor began while I was at Elon. For one of my classes, we were able to choose any skill to learn and create a our own project. I randomly chose watercolor, funny enough, and spent many hours watching training videos to create my first watercolor floral print to use on stationery and wrapping paper. From there, the rest was history.
So, cheers to Elon! I owe so much of where I am today to this special school.
